At dawn on Saturday, a significant fire erupted at Al-Ahram Studio in the Giza area, the filming location for the Ramadan series "The Teacher," featuring Mostafa Shaaban.

The blaze occurred shortly after the departure of the "Al-Muallem" crew, who had been filming scenes on the set. It swiftly engulfed the entire set decorations of the series.

Egyptian Minister of Culture, Nevin Al-Kilani, promptly visited the site on Saturday morning to assess the damage to the historic studio, established in the mid-1940s. She provided assurance that the fire had not harmed the studio's historical edifices but had caused damage to the set decorations depicting the popular neighborhood featured in Mustafa Shaaban's series.

Various reports have speculated about a scene from the series being the trigger for the fire, casting uncertainty on the fate of the remaining episodes of the series, currently airing during Ramadan.

He declined to address inquiries regarding the fate of remaining scenes in the series and the extent of the losses, asserting that the current moment is not conducive to discussing such matters and that they are presently unable to contemplate them.
