According to sources within the club, as confirmed to Europa Press, FC Barcelona's coach, Xavi Hernández will indeed stay on until 2025, following a meeting held on Wednesday, just three days subsequent to the team's defeat against Real Madrid (3-2) and their farewell to LaLiga EA Sports, hosted at the residence of the club president.
This decision marks a notable shift from FC Barcelona's coach, Xavi Hernández's earlier assertions of his departure at the end of the current season, first announced on January 27 after a 3-5 loss against Villarreal. His aim in initially contemplating departure was to instigate a change in momentum and to address the team's perceived negative trajectory at the time.
